Microsoft Dynamics GP March 2025 Hotfix Now Available

Terry R Heley Profile Picture Terry R Heley Microsoft Employee
A big thank you to our diligent partners for identifying and quickly reporting this minor issue with our 18.7 upgrade process. Although we caught this early in the 18.7 release cycle, we still needed to issue a hotfix. If you're planning any upgrades for Microsoft Dynamics GP in the future, please use this installation.

There was a new table introduced on 18.7, (PM80810) to help save the Vendor Remit Address detail saving to history.  Once you are on 18.7, you post payables batches, and the table populates with the needed information.

Once you're on 18.7 and post payables batches, this table will populate with the necessary information.

However, an issue arose when upgrading again from an 18.7 version. The upgrade process truncated this table instead of upgrading it, resulting in data loss. Many customers may not have applied another patch on 18.7 yet, as we haven't released many, but this still needs to be addressed.

For any Microsoft Dynamics GP upgrades, I recommend using this March Hotfix for all intents and purposes.

The core version will remain the same which is 18.7.1801, only the install changed.

You can download it now below:

With the 18.7.1801 March Hotfix release the following is resolved:

The PM80810 table was getting truncated in the upgrade if you were upgrading from 18.7.1756 or later to another version of 18.7.

If you do an upgrade and run into the issue of the CO00102 table failing, fix scripts have been added to the below blog.
There are also steps in this blog you can use if later you find attachments missing, etc.
