Anton Venter – Community Spotlight

Anton was born and raised in South Africa. He studied Electrical Engineering in Pretoria in the early 1990s. After working various jobs for a few years, Anton decided to make a career change to software development. In the late '90s, he joined a Johannesburg-based consulting company, where his primary focus was customizing ERP systems, specifically Great Plains Dynamics and ACCPAC. Notably, Great Plains Dynamics would later become Microsoft Dynamics GP.

In 2001, Anton relocated to the Netherlands for work, and in 2004, joined a global consulting company. It was here that he began working with Axapta 3.0, the predecessor of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.

Anton found his niche and decided to specialize in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Over the years, he has worked exclusively as a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations developer for various companies in the financial services, logistics, and retail sectors. More recently, he has occasionally taken on the role of technical solution architect, a responsibility he approaches with the same steady commitment he has demonstrated throughout his career.
