There is nearly no information about the BC processes, no flow charts, nothing. You do not find any posts about the tables, their purpose, how they are connected, how the data flow works.

The Sales Order Processing

This diagram, whhich i developed after many years as BC consultant, shows the main processes of the Sales Order Processing in BC Standard incl. an eventually connected Webshop or WMS. You can see the involved tables and how they are connected, you can see the data flow.

The order data are created in tables Sales Header/Line. When posting the order data are copied to the invoice & shipment tables, the order data are removed. The posting data are saved in the ledger tables.
