Shipment status does not change to loaded once all work is finished - partly delivering one line

Dear all,

we are currently trying to recreate a part delivery of one sales line, like for example the stock is not sufficient so we only can reserve and ship 1 piece, and once the quantity is again available we reserve the rest and ship it immediately without setting a new date.

so we did that and the first shipment could be loaded and confirmend, with some adjustement on the over - underdelivery parameters.

now the second shipment was picked, packed, sorted and loaded to the final shipment location, but the shipment status is still on "in process"

also if i want to confirm the shipment i get the following:
Some of the items that are needed for load Lad-000901 have not yet been picked and moved to the final shipping location.

this shipment is the only in this load, so there is no open work anywhere.. we assume it comes from the two shipments out of one line. can anyone of you confirm this, or has a similar experience and how did you solve it?
many thanks for you input in advance!

Kind reagards, Ilse

There's no open work, I see you have a filter on the work IDs. Trying removing the filter and check if there's any open work for the second release.

    Hi

Can you check the put location LKW-001 is the final shipping location. Make sure that this location 'LKW-001' location type matches to the final shipping location type setup in the warehouse management parameters.

Thanks for you feedback but all the settings you mentioned are correct and no work is open. The process itself usually works, the only difference here is that this is the second shipment out of the sales oder line.
i am also using the sorting component in this process if this rings any bells for you?

many thanks again, and I hope someone experience that as well..

    Kind regards, Ilse

    Hi Ilse,
I personally do not have experience with the sorting, but it does look like you are not done with picking the Load/Shipment.  If its anything like Packing, you need to do something to move the closed container (in packing) to the Shipping Location.

I would recommend that you add the "Picked Quantity" field on the Load Line. When all Quantity, Work Quantity and Picked Quantity are all in sync (same value), then the Load will have the status loaded.

If the Picked quantity is empty, it would be a good indication that some additional transaction is required to complete the picking (likely some more work to move from sorting to the Final shipping location that Sagar refers to).

Would also suggest you look at Work Line Details for any outstanding work for that item. Item might be tied up by open work from-to the same location on the Pick work.    Another way to verify would be to look at Inventory Transactions for that item to isolate anything that is holding that item back.

    Hey Danny!

many thanks for that hint. I looked into that and found that my first load got all the picked quantity and the second load got nothing:
    1st load:
    2nd load:

so therefore he can of course not find the picked quantity.
My explaination for this is the outbound sorting process where I sorted both of those items onto the same licenceplate.
if you use outbound sorting, you put the packed container on a new licence plate (where you can consolidate more containers) and then you load an deliver only this licence plate.
so in my case I used the same licence plate on both of this scenarios, which in my optionion can happen coincidently, as in your business process the outbound licenceplates will come back into the system.. so if anyone want to use this process you should take this into consideration.

I hope this can help someone else with the same problem in the future :)

kind regards for all your help, this hint was super useful!
