Report Writer - Body size adjustment

How do I adjust the body size in report writer for check with stub top and bottom graphical.
When I adjust the body size it will only adjust from '12' and then jumps to size '24' and will not adjust incrementally.
The jump from 12 to 24 causes the check to print the data double spaced and pushes everything out of alignment and will not fit on check length

You are likely running into hard-coded issues due to US banking format regulations.

Are you using a standard-sized business check?  If so, I am not sure why you would want to adjust any of the section sizes.

[I know I often need to adjust the headings on the bottom stub.  In that case, I am moving the column headings that actually appear at the bottom of the check face section.]

Thanks Lisa - the issue is, on our pre-printed checks, when I adjust the top column location (up/down) it also adjusts the column location on the bottom check stub (Check Stub on Top and Check stub on bottom). The bottom stub column fields get pushed down too low when the top columns are adjusted down to line up with check form. If I expand the top Body, it jumps in size from 12 to 24 which makes the check double space the column data and pushes to a 2nd page(check)

I have never been able to reliably adjust section heights without throwing off another part of the check layout.  (You are correct about how the top/bottom stubs share some attributes.)

You'll need to move the objects (for example, the headers and the data fields) to the left, right, up, down in a section, without changing the height of the sections.

(I once had a client order the "wrong" formats and we couldn't get things to work just right.  Returning the checks and getting the correct ones weren't an option for the client and we ended up going with the Stub on Top format as they weren't using the bottom stub.  This was before the much-improved Graphical version of the format was available.)

Whenever possible, I recommend blank check stubs to minimize the amount of time spent trying to get things to "fit".

[Reminder:  When the whole format is too high/low or left/right, using the alignment offsets when printing is the answer.]

If you can attach a mock-up of what you are trying to do - for example, an alignment check without identifying information and write in the changes you are trying to make, I can try to help with some more specific recommendations.

Thanks Lisa - there is just not enough room in the body of the stubs to squeeze into our pre-printed check format.
I am going to try changing font smaller as a final effort.
If that is a fail, then going to order blank checks
Thanks for taking time to answer this.
