Purchase requisition line not showing vendor lookup

Hi Experts,

In purchase requisition (type consumption), If I select Procurement category "ADMIN CONSUMABLES AND SUPPLIES" I can able to put Unit price as well select vendors from lookup but If I select item number in purchase requisition line,

Unit price I can not able to put and vendor lookup showing empty.

I need your help.

Hi faiz,

You don't have to specify a Vendor on the Item record. You can also create Trade agreement purchase prices for the Vendors who you buy the item off.

It's been a while since I looked at this, but from memory, I think the Requisition line will allow the preparer to select the cheapest Vendor.

The Unit price will be read-only, since Microsoft work to the model that Procurement agree the prices for items with the Vendors, and procurement should ensure they are correct and updated for use on Requisitions.

In the Microsoft design, Requisition preparers, when ordering Items, should be choosing what they want, not where it should be ordered from.

Price will appear based on the available price in the item master

Hi Siv,

It's means one to one relation between item and vendor. We cannot see all vendor for an item ?

What about unit price. This is disable if I select item in item number.

It is a standard behaviour, please select a vendor for the item you are selecting in the item master
