Stocking Limit for Hazardous Materials

Hello,

I have a scenario where my customer, due to regulatory compliance, must not exceed a specific stocking limit for certain hazardous materials. In their legacy system, they currently receive a warning whenever a receipt posting would cause the stock level to exceed that limit.

Do you have experience with this kind of scenario? Is there any functionality in Dynamics 365 that allows setting a maximum stocking limit for specific items, or at least triggers a warning when the limit is about to be exceeded?

In my scenario we are not enabling advanced warehouse since not needed.

Stocking Limit for Hazardous Materials

Hi

It is possible to achieve this using advance warehouse management stocking limits when clubbed with put away for fixed locations but not possible in legacy warehouse management.
