    Hi,

Microsoft has introduced many copilot based agent features recently.

The recently introduced Sales order agent has limited functionality create new Contact or Customer, you can read here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/sales-order-agent

Payable agent however has full functionality to create a Vendor and carry out Payable process, you can read it here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/payables-agent

Microsoft has also released a new feature which allows you to create Agents in Business Central to perform your custom tasks such as Creating customer or vendors. This feature is in preview but you can already see lot of videos and guides in community around it. With this feature creating a custom agent to create Customer and Vendor with email triggers and instructions is possible. Read it here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/release-plan/2025wave2/smb/dynamics365-business-central/envision-prototype-custom-ai-agents-using-agent-designer

    I hope this helps.

    Hello,

Out of the box, Copilot in Business Central doesn’t automatically create a new Customer/Vendor and fill all fields just from an email; for that scenario you typically use either the Business Central Outlook add-in (Contact Insights) to create the new customer/contact from the email context in Outlook, or you build a Copilot Studio agent that reads the email, extracts the details, and then creates the record in BC using the Business Central connector (Microsoft even shows using Create record (V3) to create customers).
