    The file exported from D365 F&SCM is generated in a format aligned with the IRS Publication 1220 specifications required for 1099 electronic filing. However, to ensure full compliance and acceptance, the file must be validated through the IRS FIRE test system at https://fire.irs.gov/.
     
    This validation step is essential to confirm that all formatting, data, and control records meet IRS requirements before submitting the file in a production environment.

    If any format changes are required, you may need to make some modifications. However, I expect that FIRE will accept the current format. If not, you might need a small adjustment, in which case it would be best to connect with the technical team to align with their requirements.
