Is it possible to merge choices within a Dynamics drop down list?

I have built a solution within Dynamics 365 that my team are using to log product complaints. One of the categories is complaint severity which features three choices: quality, food safety and critical. I have been asked to merge the food safety and critical labels under one label of food safety. There are over 1000 legacy complaints so to delete the critical label and manually update all critical complaints to food safety would be very intensive. Is it possible to merge the two choices?

    For long-term maintainability:
    • Bulk update all records from Critical → Food Safety.
    • Verify reports, dashboards, Power Automate flows, plugins, and integrations.
    • Remove the Critical option from the Choice field.
    • Publish customizations.
    • This leaves a single "Food Safety" value in the system and avoids future reporting and maintenance issues.
Since you're working in Dynamics 365 and have over 1,000 records, a one-time Power Automate flow or Bulk Edit operation is typically the quickest and safest approach.

You cannot directly merge the Choices, Follow to manage this scenario ,
    • you have to go to Solution -> Table -> Complaint Severity column
    • Click Dependencies to review usage (forms, views, flows, rules, plugins)
    • Specifically check any logic where value = “Critical”
    • Bulk update all records  as Manish mentioned (Critical -> Food Safety) and Validate no logic depends on “Critical” anymore
    • Then delete/deactivate the “Critical” option

Thanks both, I've bulk updated critical to food safety, removed any logic still containing critical and deleted critical as an option. Seems to have solved the issue!
