Hello, I want to export the CSV file For the Ach transaction, Is it possible with the Base Business central functionality ?

Hi,
Not directly. Standard Business Central supports ACH payment file export via Payment Journal → Export Payment File, but the format is controlled by Data Exchange Definitions, not a generic CSV.
You can try the steps below to achieve CSV export

Use Data Exchange Framework

Create a Data Exchange Definition with File Type = Variable Text (CSV/delimited).

Map columns to payment journal fields.

Then run Payment Journal → Bank → Export Payment File using this definition.

Set up Data Exchange Definitions

Use Export to Excel from the Payment Journal page and save as CSV.

Make payments with AMC Banking or SEPA Credit Transfer

Field mapping for exporting bank payment files

Summary:

Base BC does not have a “CSV ACH export” out-of-the-box.

Use Data Exchange Definitions for custom CSV format.

Hi,

Yes you can:

ACH (NACHA) file: yes, out-of-the-box.

ACH as CSV: not a built-in format, but doable with base Business Central using Data Exchange—no custom code or extensions needed.

How to do CSV with base BC (quick steps):

Go to Data Exchange Definitions → New → set File Type = Variable Text (CSV), pick your delimiter, and add the line/column mappings your bank wants.

Open Bank Export/Import Setup and link that definition as a Payment Export format.

On your Bank Account card, set Payment Export Format to the CSV definition.

In Payment Journal, use Bank Payment Type = Electronic Payment, then Export Payments to File.

Tip: many banks still want standard NACHA (fixed-width). If yours accepts CSV, the above works great—just match their column layout and date/amount formats.
