Clarification on Dynamics 365 APIs, Access, Integration, and Pricing Plans

Hello, I would like to get clear information regarding the APIs used in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

My Questions:
1. What APIs are used in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (for example, Web API, Organization Service, or others)?
2. Will we get access to these APIs through a free or paid license?
3. Can we integrate Dynamics 365 APIs with our own applications (like voice-based or web apps)?
4. What are the pricing details for API access or integration—are there monthly, yearly, or lifetime subscription plans?
5. What is the process to approach Microsoft for licensing, integration, and support?

Any official links or contact details for India (especially Bangalore region) would be very helpful.

Thank you.

There is no generic answer for D365, because different D365 products have different capabilities. For example, D365 Business Central have different APIs that D365 Finance etc.

Please clarify which D365 product you have in mind (and ideally ask in forum about the given product).

    Hey!

As stated, this will depend on the products, but usually you'll find
    - OData Calls
    - WebAPI calls
    - some calls to Azure or other Microsoft Services

Calculations are usually reflected monthly and payment might be monthly, yearly or per use (Billed monthly).  There are some limitations (for example, some services allow a max of 600 request in a 5 minutes range)

Microsoft Support doesn't provide councelling on code (Code reviews, etc), however, support for product and webapi errors is available (severity A with Production environment down is 24x7, other environments or issues are available on regular business hours)

For pricing, you'll need to verify to which product you want to connect/integrate.

    Regards,
