Hi all,

I am having an issue with PowerBi authentication for a report with Business Central.

any idea how to get this resolved and will this be on the client side or can be done from partner side as well.

Hello ,

This Power BI error (AADSTS700082) means the Azure AD refresh token for Business Central expired due to inactivity, not a BC configuration issue. It must be fixed on the client / Power BI side by re-authenticating the dataset (Dataset → Settings → Data source credentials → Sign in again). A partner cannot resolve this from Business Central. To avoid repeats, use a dedicated service account, ensure it signs in periodically, and re-authenticate proactively, especially if scheduled refreshes run without user interaction.
