Hi,

We added a field to a standard table

Table properties:
AOS Authorization: None
Configuration key is filled

Field properties:
AOS Authorization: No
Configuration key not filled

Form Control properties:
Needed permission: None
Configuration key not filled
(also this control is added under data group, data group "needed permission" property is also "None")
 
Privileges:
Read and delete privileges (nothing special)
Form control permission node is not filled

    In case the fields become visible at another tab or by the system admin, then check the properties on the HeaderGeneral and subsequent groups. In case the property NeededPermission has a value other than none, it should be either changed to none, or the group must be added as form control permission on the privilege.     "If i add the field data group to another tab in the form, then the field appears for other users" is behaviour that would make sense if it field was actually added by personalization, but it's strange if you added it via an extension.
     
    If you're now saying that your problem is specific to HeaderGeneral, then please give us some information about it. For example, isn't it based on a field group? In your reply, you mentioned you're extending a standard form. Which form it is? When you tell us, we'll be able to look at HeaderGeneral on our own.
     
    What do you mean by "to add a field as a field, not as a group"?
     
    Next time, please give us more information already when creating the thread.

    Hi Martin,

    yes only sysAdmin sees the field

    And no i don't think it's a security issue, as other customized fields are appearing normally(but they are in different tab). Only this one is not appearing

    And no i didn't create privileges, those are standard privileges (i said i only added field to form and table via extension)
     
    The weird thing is, if i add the field data group to another tab in the form, then the field appears for other users.  Just in the "HeaderGeneral" tab the field data group doesn't appear
     
    Also if i try to add the field to the "headerTab" as a field not data group, then it also appears

    Do´you mean that only system administrators can see it and normal users don't? Then is seems to be a security issue.
    You said that you created security privileges, but you didn't mention adding any of the privilege to any security duty or role. Isn't that the bug? The privileges have no effect if they aren't included in any security role.

    yes the field is added via extension to the table and the form
    the issue happens in more than one environment, we checked DEV and UAT
     
    sysAdmin role can see this field
     
    **please note that there are other custom fields that we added to the table and form, and they are appearing normally
     
    And yes the user who can't see the field, can open the form and interact with data
     
    and no personal views

    Hi,
     
    In the subject it says, that not "all" users can see it. If I get it right, some users can see it. 
     
    Therefore, I would check the differences between the users that can see it and those who cannot. 
    I would start checking if the users that can see it have SysAdmin role and the 2nd thing is to check the personalized views - they can be buggy sometimes.

    I do assume when you mentioned a standard table that you added a field via a table extension? Is the current issue in a development environment, UAT, or production? Is the standard form accessible by the users and can they interact with the data? Did you add the field also via a form extension?
