Shopify sales order integration - Shopify In Store Pick Up map to BC Ship method

Hi All
With the current Shopify integration we can map shopify shipping zones (standard/express) to BC shipping methods . However if the shopify in store pickup option used how does it map to sales order shipping methods/agents? I cannot see an option to map store pick up to BC shipment methods as this is not NOT in shipping zones.

    In-store pickup isn't a shipping zone, so standard Shopify-BC mapping doesn't catch it.

    Solutions:

    1. Map Pickup to a Dummy Shipping Method (Quick Fix)


    • Create a BC shipping method called "In-Store Pickup"

    • Add a rule in your connector: "If fulfillment type = Pickup → use In-Store Pickup method"

    • Sales orders create correctly with the right shipping method

    2. Custom Mapping Logic (Better)


    • If your connector supports custom field mapping, create a rule for pickup fulfillment

    • Maps directly to your designated BC shipping method

    3. Power Automate (Most Flexible)


    • Build a flow that detects pickup orders and updates the shipping method before posting to BC

    • Allows custom business logic

    We've handled this for Shopify-BC customers. Most use #1 + #2 combined.

    Hi,
    you're right, this is not really gap in BC, it's how Shopify treats it. Local Pickup is its own delivery method in Shopify, not a rate inside a shipping zone, so the Shipment Method Mapping page in BC only picks up what's defined under Shipping and delivery > zones, pickup never shows there because it's a different mechanism entirely.
    From what I've seen, orders that come in with pickup selected just land with the Shipment Method Code blank on the sales order, no agent, nothing, unless you handle it separately somehow, maybe a default fallback or checking the location field on the imported order. One workaround people use on the Shopify side is to disable native Local Pickup and set up a custom shipping rate literally called Pickup instead — that one behaves like a normal zone rate and does show up for mapping. Bit of a hack, but it works.

    Which version of the connector are you on, and are these pickup orders auto creating as invoices already, or staying as open sales orders?
