Hi,

Is this the right way to give permissions for on-prem IP range?
also, they should not use the free objects in the assigned range, so insert object is not allowed?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Yes this looks correct for on-prem IP range permissions.

And yes - Insert is set to No Access on all object types which is exactly right if you want to prevent them from creating objects in that range. Read, Modify, Delete and Execute are Direct which gives them enough to work with existing objects but not add new ones.

One thing to check - make sure you scroll down and check the Table object type row as well, sometimes that one gets missed and causes runtime errors when the extension tries to read data.

Also remember the warning on the page - you need to do this separately for each product line if you have more than one.

Please if you have found this helpful mark it as verified
