Discrepancy in deliver remainder/ordered quantity resulting in product receipt error

Hello experts,

This is in our Production env.

We have a PO for quantity 10,000 pieces. We have partially received 5404,37 p.  We have been periodically receiving these pieces from last January. The last product receipt was posted on 18th august (the first screenshot). You can see that the remaining quantity is 4595,63.

But now, when the user is trying to post a product receipt, we get the below message.    The line quantity shows that the deliver remainder is only 68,82. Ideally, it should be 4595,63.  This is quite strange.

I have tried to recalculate delivery remainder in the 'Correct purchase orders lines manually' in the periodic tasks. But we have the change management enabled. Even tried after disabling the parameter for this task, but didnt work. Basically, it says it cannot be done because the change management is enabled.

Would you have any suggestions to fix this or where to look for the remaining quantity? Thanks in advance.

Finding the root cause is also important here, but till that time, you can increase the deliver remainder quantity and book the product receipt.

Then after completion of product receipt, validate the inventory transactions and also run the consistency check for particular item only.
[Navigate to System Administration > Periodic Tasks > Database > Consistency Check]

Further, if possible can you please share the screenshot of inventory transactions to understand about root cause..

    Regards,
    Neeraj Kumar
