Query on OOB Gate Entry feature

We will soon be implementing gate entry feature and while testing the OOB Gate Entry feature (Under Inventory Management), we recorded the below queries. Please let me know if anyone has come across it and how do you navigate:
-The measurement step can be skipped. There is a dedicated toggle switch to do so. Can we also skip the Tare check step?
-Once we are on Measured or Tare check step (Confirm measurement or Confirm tare check step done), can we reverse the step similar to how we can do it for production orders? It seems to be non-reversible and there is a possibility of human error.
-Currently, gate entry can be done by selecting only one warehouse under the gate selected. But there can be a scenario where multiple warehouses can be present in a single premise, and one single gate is available for all the warehouses. Has anyone worked on such requirement and able to select multiple warehouses for single gate entry?

    1. Yes, if you enable Skip Measurement on the header, the system will not prompt you to enter the tare weight. Otherwise, you must specify the tare weight for each line.

    2. This is not possible.

    3. Please note that the factory gate is linked to the Site, not the Warehouse. The setup is available under:

Inventory Management> Setup > Inventory Breakdown> Inventory Site Gate.

The In or Out gate is associated with the Site. Once defined here, during gate entry creation, you must select the Warehouse after choosing the factory gate.

Thank you so much for your reply @sagar_patil

For the 2nd point: Will reversal then be a customization? Do you any have any idea if MS is considering this in upcoming releases?

For the 3rd point: So, we can select only one warehouse per gate entry and it is mandatory field as of now.
Our requirement is: A site has a gate but the warehouses (each site has more than one warehouse) do not have an individual gate. So, the solution I think is the gate entry person should know which warehouse the item would be received.

Can you please also help me with below queries?

The Reference document type do not have a filter enabled. Will this need a customization as the document types can be any one amongst: PO, Stock Transfer In, Sales returns, etc. and needs a filter for reporting.

Apart from the gate entry report, are there any other reports that you know that links Purchase order, Purchase receipts, and gate entries that are available OOB.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

Regarding the filteration option for purchase order, stock transfer etc, you can utilize the advanced filter option by using join with relevant tables.
Then save the views for further use.

Hi @CA Neeraj Kumar. I tried your suggestion but these tables does not show an option to filter using Reference type field. I tried the tables suggested by you and also tried a few additional tables but no luck. Would be great if you share some additional details on it?

Hi, it will not give you filter option specifically but when you make a join with one of these tables, records will be filtered on that basis. And you can save the view.
Just add the table as join and click ok. It will filter the list. Or maximum you can do is give a filter like ! "" In record id of joined table.

    Regards,
    NK
