Missing tile button in Vendor Payments Workspace

Our company is in the process of implementing D365FO and our QA team is now doing functional testing.  We noticed that our Vendor Payments Workspace is missing a single tile button named Summarized Payments.  I believe it is an OOTB tile button and it appears for an Admin, but not for our Finance group when they view the page.  I've been reviewing security roles/duties/privs and so far have not found the culprit.

Have also checked the vendor payment workspace form settings for this tile button (called BankTransSummarizationTile) in AOT and its settings look the same as the other tile buttons that display next to it.  All the tile buttons appear to have the same settings.  Also focused on a duty called VendPaymentWorkspaceInquire and its underlying privilege VendPaymentWorkspaceView.  All looks good from what I can see.

Any ideas why that specific tile button is not displaying?

Thanks,
Scott

Missing tile button in Vendor Payments Workspace
    Hi Scott,

The missing tile is caused by missing security settings. You can consider it a minor bug. All out-of-the-box tiles do have a menu item linked to manage security. For this tile, there is a display menu item with object name VendPaymentSummarization.

You can add this menu item to your security role by adding a privilege and, optionally, also a duty. You can then link either the duty or privilege to the security role. In case you have your own configured privileges and/or duties, you can add the menu item to your security privilege.

If the security assignments are correct, the next step would be to clear the user cache and reset personalization on the Vendor Payments workspace. Sometimes tiles are hidden because of cached personalization.

If neither of the above resolves the issue, it’s possible that the same privilege is being inherited through multiple roles assigned to the user, which can occasionally cause conflicts.

I recommend temporarily assigning the user only the Accounts payable manager role and then testing again. With just this role, the user should be able to see all of the standard tiles, including Summarized Payments. If yes then privilege of other role is conflicting with permission.

Please let us know which of the above steps resolves the issue.
