How can I join a Yammer group with my personal email?

Hi Community,

 

I’m trying to join a Yammer group using my personal email (Gmail/Outlook), but I’m not receiving the verification email, so I can’t complete the signup process.

 

I do have a work email as well, but for personal interest, I’d like to join this group with my personal account.

Is there a way to join Yammer (or Viva Engage) using a personal email address? Or is it restricted to organizational accounts only?

    Hi Adis,

    Thanks for your response! Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone in the group who could send me an invite, as I’m not part of that community yet. I’ll try reaching out to Viva Engage support as you suggested and see if they can help.

    Hi,
     
    I know that others joined also with their private accounts, because it was restricted by their organisation. What could work if you receive an invitation from someone, maybe the process works then.
     
    Did you check any support email address for viva engage? I would write them and ask about the issue. If it would be restricted, then you should receive a message or so.
