Link to Fabric: No workspaces to choose from

Hey all,

Hope somebody can help.

I used to have a Link to Fabric with this particular Power Apps environment. However, I needed to delete the old one and create a new one to link the environment to another workspace. I always had the issue that I was not able to select any workspaces. However, my colleague would be able to do so. Therefore, most of the time he did it for me. However, he no longer works for the same company as me... I am able to have access to Power Bi and Fabric Capacity. In step 2 I can also select the right connectin

As far as I am aware I have the exact same profile as him. I also activate my Fabric Administrator role within the azure portal. I am admin in the fabric workspaces and in Power Apps.

I have tried everything and don't know what to do now... Being in different regions doesn't seem to be a problem (Power Apps environment in North Europe and Fabric in West Europe). But I don't believe this is the issue, as I have other environments linked to Fabric. But if it is the issue... I am not sure how to fix it. And I will be confused as why it did work in the past.
I have the same question (0)

Different region could be a problem at time. I have faced that last week. And in your screenshot it wants to create a new workspace, that it would link to your environment.

@JD-02021259-0 this is not the case.

You need to set your user as capacity admin for required capacity.

The issue is not with Power Apps but with Fabric workspace visibility, which depends on capacity-level permissions, tenant settings, and identity context.

Even if you are a Fabric Admin and workspace admin, you may not see any workspaces unless you also have access to the Fabric capacity and are included in the

tenant settings that allow Dataverse–Fabric integration.

This is why your colleague could see workspaces and you cannot. The fix is to ensure you are granted access at the Fabric capacity level and that tenant settings

allow your user to use Fabric and link Dataverse environments.
