Hello everyone,

While trying to post a vendor invoice according to the usual standard process, I just received this error message that I’ve never seen before :

The date on the “Sales tax transactions” screen matches the posting date selected on the vendor invoice header.

This is an urgent issue that we need to fix ASAP in prod that is preventing us from posting this invoice.

Could you please help us ?

Looking forward to your feedback, thank you all.

    Hi,

It appears that the Italian sales tax localisation is enabled in your environment.

Please review the following Microsoft documentation and verify your configuration.

Additionally, you can check the settlement period in the Tax module. It’s possible that the October settlement period is closed for entries.

    Cheers,
    Burhan

This could be posting date on the invoice may fall outside the active settlement period defined for the tax code.

Please check Sales tax settlement period
