Hi Team,
I have to build the functionality for warehouse so please give me the idea that how I can accomplish - Created SO from that PO generates basically both get linked.
Now PO created warehouse receipt it should automatically calculate how many qty. to cross dock (From bin) then it will be registering the picks and then it should open related SO from which PO. generated. Now My SO is already linked with PO. in PO I have sales order number which is hyperlinked with SO. if anybody build such functionality let me know. Its in Business central.
I have the same question (0)

This can be customized and is not difficult.
If you need it, I can introduce our company.

    Hi,

    Do this:
    1. Link SO→PO: create the PO from the SO (or use Special Order). Link stays.
    2. Turn on Cross-Dock at the Location: set Use Cross-Docking, Cross-Dock Bin, and a Due Date Calc window. Tick Use Cross-Docking on items/SKUs.
    3. Receive: on the Warehouse Receipt, hit Calculate Cross-Dock, then Post. BC fills “Qty. to Cross-Dock” for you.
    4. Pick: create/register the pick (Pick Worksheet or from Warehouse Shipment). System proposes the cross-dock bin first.
    5. Open the SO: from the PO line, use Document Line Tracking (or the SO hyperlink).
After posting the receipt, auto-run “Create Pick” via an event subscriber, and pop a link to Document Line Tracking.

    Hi,

Business Central does not have full cross-docking automation by default. You can link SO and PO using Special Orders or Drop Shipment, but automatic calculation of cross-dock quantities and pick registration requires customization or an ISV solution.
Popular ISVs for advanced warehouse and cross-docking that you can check with:
    > Insight Works – Warehouse Insight
    > To-Increase WMS
    > Lanham EDI + WMS

If you need a tailored solution, this typically involves extending Warehouse Receipt, Pick, and Sales Order logic to calculate and register cross-dock quantities dynamically. We can help with design if you share your exact process flow.

    Thanks
    Rishabh
