Hello Super Users!
After taking in all of your feedback and concerns about AI use in the Community, we've developed some new guidelines.
As a start, these guidelines have been posted in our Writing effective responses in the community article, and will be promoted throughout the Community in the near future for visibility. Eventually we plan to incorporate these guidelines into our Code of Conduct as well.
Now comes the important part – we need your help to make these guidelines work. While there are tools out there that can be used to identify some AI assisted content, none are as effective as our Super Users and Moderators. If you spot suspected AI-assisted content, we ask that you follow a simple process to address it:
We believe this is a fair and appropriate way to both allow for responsible AI usage, while addressing irresponsible AI spam in our Community.
Here is a sample Quick Responses you can use for these situations – feel free to tailor to the situation as needed, just be sure to link to the guidelines and be respectful.

AI can still be a fantastic assistant to improve the quality of your answer. Here are some best practices for how AI can enhance the community experience for everybody:

Failure to disclose the use of AI or posting AI-generated answers that are not properly vetted for accuracy prior to posting constitute a violation of the Code of Conduct which requires all members to “Cite the source of anything you post or upload, if it isn’t your own original content.” The post in violation may be removed, and repeated occurrences may result in being banned from the Community.
If a moderator suspects AI-generated content on the Community that does not adhere to this guidance, they should take the following steps:
