Hi everyone,

I am currently working as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) developer, and I’m looking to expand my skill set into the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically:

Power Apps
Power Automate
Power BI
Azure Logic Apps

I would like to start from the beginner level and gradually move to an intermediate/advanced level, with a focus on practical, real-world use cases and integration with Dynamics 365.

Could anyone please recommend:

The best learning paths or roadmaps for these technologies
High-quality courses (free or paid)
Hands-on project ideas or labs
Any resources specifically tailored for Dynamics 365 developers transitioning into Power Platform

Additionally, any tips on how to effectively combine Power Platform tools with D365 F&O in real business scenarios would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Muhammad,

Next to Microsoft resources, there are a lot of blog posts and videos talking about the Power Platform. How and when to combine Power Platform and Dynamics 365 F&O depends on the use cases. I use Power Automate a lot to automate actions based on data events. Power Apps can be used to provide a simplistic user interface to users who don't need a full client.

Don't forget about Copilot Studio. There is a new AI world we are living in. AI assisted automation with help of agents is something to learn as well.
