Dynamics 365 is wrapping tracked links with a general domain that is not related to our company's domain. Is there a way to customize or change the tracking domain used by Dynamics 365 for email link tracking? The issue is that when the general domain is reported as unsafe, contacts in our marketing list may not be able to view a clicked link without proceeding to the "unsafe" site.
For Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys, the best practice is to configure a custom branded tracking domain rather than relying on Microsoft's shared
tracking domains. This improves deliverability, reduces the likelihood of security warnings, and provides a better experience for recipients. If you're still using the
legacy Outbound Marketing module, review whether migration to Real-time Marketing is feasible, as it offers significantly better control over domains and
tracking URLs.
