2I’m a student researching sustainable AI infrastructure and water usage in data centers. I’ve been exploring whether natural-flow systems (such as closed-loop heat exchange using large rivers or waterfalls) could reduce water and energy intensity compared to conventional cooling.
I’m not an engineer, but I’m interested in the policy and regulatory frameworks that might support innovations like this. I would greatly value perspective on whether this direction is technically or practically viable. Thank you!
