I'm currently using NAV warehouse. I have an issue with same day orders and hoping to find a solution.
Currently all my same day orders are picked and staged in the same location. Same day deliveries can be between 30-50 stops spread across 5 drivers. Each delivery has multiple boxes from different departments.
Due to the amount of picks I need to do hourly pick waves to ensure everything can leave at a set time.
I have experimented with changing the shipper code on a sales order to reflect each drivers deliveries, however this only works to a point and still has issues around manifest printing if a shipper code is is changed on the sales order whilst a warehouse shipment is open.
I would like to keep the same day shipper code fixed on my sales invoice, to identify the sale as a same day sale. When creating a warehouse shipment pick wave the pickers need to know to stage to zone 1, zone 2 zone 3 and etc. Zones need to be auto assigned based on the customers post code.
Can this be done?
