Update the sales price in invoice proposal without creating new transaction

Hi Developers ,

I have a custom drop dialog button in invoice proposal form, on click of OK button in drop dialog button, I want to update sales price without creating new transactions in posted transaction.
If we check the posted transactions page under existing process it is creating one negative entry for hour transaction and one new entry with the updated sales price
My requirement is to update the sales price with same transid without creating any new one.

Thanks!!

Thanks for the clarification. I misunderstood the question. You can indeed change the price manually on the proposal. This will only change the price of the invoice proposal. In case you remove the line and fetch it again, it will default to the original sales price stored on the project transaction.

With the button, do you want to update only the selected proposal line or is a multi-select required here?

    Hi Community member,

Together with posting a project transaction, accrued revenue transactions can be posted. In addition, there are some related tables with the sales price and value stored in the database that are used for several reports and status updates. For that reason, you would need to use the adjustment feature that will then also ensure the storage and accounting entries will be correct. A customization that will just update the price in a proposal is not recommended and can cause inconsistencies.
