Looking for feedback on RSAT as a Regression Testing tool

We want to automate our regression testing for Platform Upgrades FinOps and thinking of using RSAT for the D365 . We have a few other applications and platforms we need to consider when automating end-to-end test cases. I would like to hear from others who has gone this path of using RSAT and how the experience has been.

* Have you really achieved end-to-end automation testing through RSAT?

* How was your experience in re-using once developed test cases the next time? Was it as easy as changing parameters? Or you had to do the recordings again?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

We use intensively the RSAT tool, it has been improved a lot throught the last tree years, you can even use it in a pipeline after deploying a package, so you can automate in the devops a Compile->Deploy-->Regression test cycle, to modify a test case it's a bit tricky, but once you now what to do and what not to do you get on it and it's fast, to change a parameter is as easy as to modify an Excel cell value, the hardest part is to insert new steps, but as I've said, it's just a matter of getting used to. Of course you have some limitations, you won't be able to test integrations with other tools, or to test reports

I'm curious as well and what steps are recommended. Can we record steps and use Devops?
