27.2, SaaS, German, Purchase Order, Shipping Payment, Ship-to and Pay-to, Values are not in German

We are testing BC SaaS version 27.2.
In the Purchase Order, under Shipping and Payment, the values in the selection lists for Ship-to and Pay-to are displayed in English instead of German.

All other labels and values are displayed in German.
This issue occurs for all users.
The selected language under “My Settings” is German.
We cleared the browser cache, but the values are still shown in English.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?
If so, is it resolved in the upcoming version 27.3?

In Production, we are using version 26.5, where the values are displayed in German.

Hi,

This issue where Ship-to and Pay-to values remain in English in Purchase Orders even when the user language is set to German in BC SaaS 27.2 is caused by a translation inconsistency with enum captions in BC v27.x.

BC v27.1 and v27.2 had known translation bugs where enum captions and some page texts are not shown in the selected language, especially when the language extensions are incomplete or translations are applied differently between page and table layers. This can cause values to display in English rather than German.

This is not a user setup issue, because the language selected in “My Settings” applies correctly for most UI elements. The issue occurs due to how enum translations are handled in those versions.

Resolution

This is a product issue in BC SaaS 27.2 caused by translation handling of enum values.

The fix is included in later cumulative updates or future versions beyond 27.2 where translations are corrected automatically.

Updating the environment to the latest release of BC 27 e.g. 27.3+ CU typically resolves missing translations for enum values

There is no configuration in the German language setup that will force these values to display in German until the translation issue is resolved in the regional language package or base application update.

Agree with others, Yes, this is a known BC SaaS 27.2 localization issue. It is a Microsoft bug, and we need to wait for Microsoft to release a fix.

Update:

I tested to day 27.3 and the selection list is in German.

I also checked 27.2 and the selection list is in German.

So the Bug ist fixed.
