"The view is not available" error message appears when opening an email in the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook

Hi Everyone ,

Today I faced one issue while using Dynamics 365 app for outlook on contact entity. The error was "the view is not available" .Somehow I was able to solve this issue by giving read privilege to case entity. it has worked for me and I am not able to get the error message again.

Resolution :

1.check if you deactivated one of the views used by the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook. The Dynamics 365 App for Outlook uses a special form to display Lead (App for Outlook Lead Quick View) or Contact (App for Outlook Contact Quick View) information. Each of these forms includes lists that reference specific views. If one of these views is deactivated, you may see a "view is not available" error.

2. Or you have revoke the read access for a particular role ( for my case it was case entity read access)

you may refer the below screenshot for reference.
