Prepayment Issue

Facing this error while posting a Sales order.
The order is 100% prepaid and the prepayment invoice was already created, and the prepayment invoice includes tax amount as well.
Now when I try to post the invoice this error shows and as per my analysis B.C calculates double tax and shows the error. Didn't find a way to resolve this error.
Please help me resolve that error.

    Hi,
Looks like a prepayment vs final invoice tax rounding issue. The prepayment invoice already posted the full tax, and now BC tries to recalc tax on the final invoice and the numbers don't match by a small amount.

Few things to check. Make sure nobody changed quantity or unit price on the order after prepayment invoice was posted, even small change breaks it. Check Sales & Receivables Setup that Invoice Rounding is on, and Customer Posting Group has Invoice Rounding Account filled. Also check VAT Posting Setup rounding type.

Before posting again, open the order and run Recalculate Invoice Discount, sometimes this fix it.

If still not working, easiest way is add one more line on the order with the rounding difference to a G/L account, so totals match what prepayment already booked.

    Hope this help.
