My colleagues in the finance department are receiving the following error when trying to upload 

"the gen. journal template does not exist, identification fields and values: name="

Can anyone assist or at least point me in the right direction to help?

    Can you check the in your Data Template " Journal Template Name" filed have the value or not ?
