Hi All,

Within D365 WOM is there anything like a consolidated move process?

So, for example, I have SKUs in the warehouse which have multiple pick locations and i want to pull together into one location. am i able to trigger a job on the handheld scanner to direct users to complete this task?

Yes, in D365 Warehouse Management (WMS), while there isn’t a direct "consolidated move" function out of the box, you can achieve a similar process using Movement work or a custom work class scenario.

Movement by template:
Use Movement by template functionality to generate movement work based on predefined criteria. You can target SKUs from multiple pick locations and direct them to a consolidation location.

Custom menu item on the mobile device:
You can create a custom mobile device menu item to execute movement work for a specific product or location range. That way, users can scan and consolidate items to a single location via the handheld device.

License plate consolidation:
If your SKUs are LP-controlled, you could also explore license plate consolidation via replenishment templates or custom logic.

While it's not a one-click "consolidation" feature, with a bit of setup, D365 WMS can support this type of workflow through directed movement strategies.
