Real-Time Journey Insights on Contact Record

We were using Outbound Marketing and have switched to Real-Time Journeys.  Even thought we have real-time based interactions that show up in the Timeline, we don't see the Real-Time Insights on the Insights Tab of the Contact Record.  Can someone please tell me what control you have on your contact form that gives real-time insights on the Insights tab?  We have a case open with Microsoft but the community may be able to provide a faster answer.

    Thanks for your reply, Erin.
     
    Microsoft came back and said we had deleted the Insights Tab that had the Real-Time Journey tab, so we're working with them to recover it.  It's good to know that once the real-time tab is back, we'll know to wait for the data to populate.

    Hi Tony,

     

    What you’re seeing is expected when first moving from Outbound Marketing to Real-Time Journeys. Even though the interactions appear on the timeline, the Insights tab relies on journey analytics data that takes time to start populating.

    If your environment is relatively new to Real-Time Journeys, you may not see the Insights controls right away because Microsoft “warms up” the tenant before surfacing those analytics. This warm-up period ensures the platform is consistently capturing, processing, and storing journey events.

    I’d recommend reviewing the Microsoft Learn documentation on Real-Time Journeys warm-up and data readiness:

    Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys warm-up overview

    Once enough data has accumulated, the Real-Time Journey Insights should start appearing on the contact record’s Insights tab without any additional configuration on your end.

    Hope that helps clarify why you’re not seeing them yet!
