Autoconfirm the load status from Open to Shipped

Hi,

We have business scenario, PO created Manually with 3PL warehosue and Load will be created manually with open status, we need to send all open loads having confirmed receipt dates updated on PO. Based on confirmed receipt date should pick all the loads from Today date to next than 7 days i.e., 18-JUN to 24-JUN, change the load status to 'Shipped 'from 'Open'. This will be a triiger point to send the information 3PL to make the receiving process at 3PL warehouse (Customization). After receiving process done in 3PL will receive a inbound file from 3PL with all received information related to PO's, in FO will make PO registration and product receipt through customization will create auto registration and product receipt.

So requirement is to make load auto confirm the inbound shipment based on confimred receipt date, load status changes from Open to Shipped. It is possible to achieve this in FO?

Note: No warehouse app is used and no work created for this process.

Good day RK,

Do you mean that the load status should automatically change to "Received" when the confirmed receipt date is equal to today's date?

No, Actually our requirement is to pick all open loads based on confirmed receipt date mentioned on PO from Today to next 7 days on the date i.e., T+7 days should change the load status to 'Shipped'. So need a batch job to run this process in standard FO is it possible or not looking for answers on this.

Good day RK,

My advice is to try it with the batch 'Receiving completed'

Via the filter you can make a join to the purchase order lines and configure a query that validates the confirmed receipt date for the upcoming 7 days and the load status open

Hi Laurens van der Tang,

I have done it through this batch job used for confirm shipment with your answer mentioned so useful and helped a lot to avoid customization. Below is the criteria used for batch job to auto confirm the load from 'Open' to 'Shipped' .

Hi RG,

Could you please tell me, where you found the Batch Jpb for "Confirm Shipment"? I cant find it. Or you could tell me the Class name of the job as well.
The only one i can find is this one:

But in this job, the Filtering works not as expected.

Hi Simon,

On load form - under ship and receive tab - click on confirm shipment - form will appear below in the same you will be able to see batch processing option available.
