If I want to schedule a new appointment via activities in d365 customer engagement, I want to be able to view the availability of my colleagues participating in the appointment. I need to be able to view their calendars. Is this possible? If so, how?

Yes, this is possible in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
    • While creating an appointment, you can use the Scheduling Assistant to view attendees’ availability (free/busy time).
    Key requirement:
    • Calendar synchronization with Microsoft Outlook must be enabled (Server-Side Sync)
    How it works:
    • Add attendees to the appointment
    • Open Scheduling Assistant
    • View their availability and select a suitable time
In short: enable Outlook sync and use Scheduling Assistant to check calendars.

Thanks for your reply! I have enabled Server-Side Sync for the accounts, but I don't see the Scheduling Assistant appearing anywhere. Where do I configure this?

here is another qay to schedule if the app is available for you. check also the links below for more info if needed

    1. Go to Customer Service Hub → Scheduling tab.
    2. Under Tools, select Service Calendar.
    3. On the left, you’ll see a list of resources (your colleagues).
    4. In the Type list, select Resource, and in the View list, select the resource view.
    5. Use the search box to find a specific colleague.
    6. The calendar will show their booked and available time slots. You can also:
      • Zoom in/out for better visibility.
      • Switch to List view for a tabular display of availability.

You can then create new appointments directly from the Service Calendar and the system will check for resource conflicts before confirming the booking. If there’s a conflict, a warning will appear, and you can choose whether to save or adjust.citeturn0search0

For me, the scheduling assistant is not visible in either the sales hub or the customer service hub. How do I make it visible?
