Hi,
we discovered that the email form is behaving a little strange. When we answer a customer, the letters jumps to the first row.
It´s difficult to explain, but it´s kind of living its´s own world.

Has anyone experienced the same thing?

We think that it´s only in Google Chrome that happens, but serveral coworkes says that it´s instable.

Example:

We answer a question by starting with:

"Hi customer x.
Thank you for your question ...."

And suddenly the letters from one of the words, are moving to the first row before "Hi customer".

I have the same question (0)

    Try Microsoft Edge
Dynamics is optimized for Edge. Most people find the issue disappears there.
Use the “Clear Formatting” button before replying
Removes hidden tags and stabilizes the typing area.
    Check for updates
Microsoft has patched quirks in the Email Rich Text Editor in recent Service Updates. Make sure your org is on the latest release.
    Switch to “Plain Text” temporarily
In the email body editor, you can toggle plain text → no formatting issues.
    Log a ticket if widespread
If multiple coworkers experience it, it may be a known bug in the current Chrome version + Dynamics editor combo. Microsoft support often advises clearing cache or switching browsers, but if persistent they can escalate.

    Thank you for your response.
That helps a lot, so I will check that.

This sounds like an issue with the email rich text editor while composing, not only the final email rendering. I would first check whether the issue happens only when replying with a specific email template, signature, or content block, or whether it also happens in a completely blank email.

If it only happens with certain templates/content blocks, inspect the HTML. Hidden formatting, copied Word/Outlook markup, unsupported CSS, nested spans/divs, or invisible characters can cause strange editor behavior. Microsoft has documented cases where email template content appears out of order because of invisible characters in the HTML, especially around formatted content. A good test is to recreate the template/content block from clean HTML or plain text and add formatting back gradually.

If it also happens in a blank email, then I would treat it as a browser/editor issue. Test in Edge and Chrome, clear browser cache/site data, disable browser extensions, and confirm whether all users are on the same Dynamics 365 app version and using the modern rich text editor. Also check whether the email form is using the recommended Rich Text Editor control rather than older/deprecated email/activity editor behavior.
