Hi All,

I have disabled the workflow in all the subsidiaries., yet system would not allow posting of the default Journal in one subsidiary. I am able to post only enabling the workflow.

I donot want to use workflows, yet donot want to delete them, for it can be enabled in future.

I have disabled workflows in other subsidiaries ( companies) and they are working well.
Appreciate your help.

After disabling the workflow, you have to delete the record from the Restricted Records page. If that doesn't work, just delete the line from the journal and after you re-create it you should be able to post.

    Thanks Ramesh,

As I said, I did deactivate using the Toggle. Hence the problem has been reported.

I had to totally delete the workflows for it to work now.

Any further comments/opinions form the community will help me. thanks

It sounds like in one of your subsidiaries, the journal posting is still linked to a workflow even though you've disabled it.

If the journal batch or line is already in a pending approval state, disabling the workflow won't resolve the issue because the workflow instance remains active.

To check this, create a new journal batch, add a line, and try posting it—if it posts successfully, it confirms that the existing batch is still stuck in an active workflow state.

    Hello,

You need to follow below steps:
    1. You can check the Record in "Restricted Records" Page and delete from there.
    2. Ask the Requester to Cancel the Approval Request
    3. Then you can able to Post the same.

    Hope this resolve the issue.

Is this line already in pending state?
If you recreate it, does this problem still exist?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You just need to disable the workflow. Simply search for 'Workflow' in the search bar, then use the toggle button to turn it off.
