How to retrieve email interaction tracking via API for external tables without UI export limits

ENGLISH VERSION:

Hello community,

I’m working with Dynamics 365 Marketing and need to retrieve detailed email interaction data (such as whether the recipient clicked, opened, bounced, or blocked the email) for use in external tables.

The native interface only allows exporting with quantity limitations, which is not suitable for my scenario. The official documentation mentions using an API, but when I try it, the response returns empty or incomplete data.

My goal is to connect this data to Power Automate, so that if an email is marked as blocked, I can automatically deactivate the corresponding email address in Dynamics CRM.

Any guidance, examples, or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.

VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL:

Hola comunidad,

For external tables: use the platform export pipeline to your own storage (most scalable).

For automation: query the event/interaction table via Dataverse (discover the exact table + fields via metadata), then update Contact/Lead suppression fields.

Don’t rely on the “email export API” for clicks/opens/bounces/blocked—it’s for exporting exact email copies.
