Updates to Owner Field changing all Notes dates

When I update an existing Opportunity Owner field under Sales that has pre-existing notes in the Timeline, the Timeline notes are then updated with the same date that I updated the Owner field. This is a problem because it often will mix up the notes and re-order them so they are no longer in chronological order.  How do we fix this or is there something Microsoft can do to fix this problem?  I need to be able to update the Owner field at any time in the Opportunity process and not have it re-order my notes or change the timestamp on my notes.
thanks!

    Hi,

Its happening for me too and seems like this is happening due to cascade behaviour and we have few options below to sort this.

    1. Modify the timeline control in customization to sort on Created On.

    1. Modify the relationship cascade behaviour to prevent this.
    2. Submit an Idea to Microsoft to handle this differently.

    Hello,

To fix that you need to modify the relationship cascade behaviour.

If you want to change this behaviour, go to your 1:N Relationship under Opportunity Entity and change the Relationship Behaviour to Configurable Cascading and change the Assign option to None.

This way, when you assign the Opportunity to a new person, the related records won't get assigned.

    Hope that helps
