We need to adjust the styling of our bullets and list text in our emails, but we're seeing inconsistent behaviour in how it's managed.
If we're starting an email from scratch, we can adjust it in the Theme.
For emails that already exist where we need add a list, in some emails we can't see 'List' as an option to edit. In other emails, 'List' is there but we can't adjust the styling, only the spacing.
Can someone explain why we can't go into an email that's in draft and adjust the styling on a list? What are we missing?
Bullet points and list text - setting the styling / colour in an email
In the Customer Insights Journeys (CIJ) email designer, the ability to modify list styling (bullets, numbering, indentation, fonts, spacing, etc.) depends entirely on how and when the email and its design blocks were created.
You’re noticing that:
In new emails, you can modify list styles via the Theme or the “List” option.
In existing or older emails, the List option is missing or only offers spacing controls.
This is expected behaviour not a bug and it’s tied to how the HTML and design block templates were generated.
