Ribbon Workbench Question for 9.1 On-Premise Advanced Find

This is an odd one so I’m hoping the experts here can help. I’ve been modifying my 9.1 on-premise ribbons and don’t see where the Advanced Find *results* ribbons actually lives in the Ribbon Workbench UI.

For example, I’ve loaded my Application Ribbons into a solution and opened it in the workbench. There’s a section in the Home for Mscrm.AdvancedFind, and that controls the buttons available when creating an Advanced Find, but I can’t find a section for the buttons when displaying advanced find results. See attached for what I mean.

Does that exist? Is there a way to separately edit the buttons available when viewing the *results* of an Advanced Find?

Ultimately I’m trying to add the “Send Direct Email” button back to my Advanced Find results page. That function is available on the UCI, but not on the classic Adv Find UI.

I think you may be looking in the wrong place for the button in the Ribbon Workbench (caveat, I'm not an expert at Ribbon manipulation).

I think you need to be editing and reviewing the ribbon for the Order table, not for the Advanced Find properties. Many of the actions that appear in the Ribbon for a table while viewing in Advanced Find are set on the table level. This is done as some actions are not valid for certain tables (for example, only tables that are email enabled should have the send an email option, or the Qualify button should only appear for leads).

Try and open the Order table in Ribbon workbench and check along that top line. See if there are any hide commands or customizations on buttons there. In my online version, I can see the Send Email button here for the Order table:

Thanks, , that's a good point that the buttons in the Advanced Find results would be specific to that entity!

I am hiding the default "Send Direct Email" button in the Order "Home" nav because I use custom buttons in flyout menus (a better experience for my users than to have a long, unstructured list of actions across the horizontal bar and down the "More Commands").

I'll experiment with that and it should get me closer.

Just a quick follow up to say that I figured it out.

The button used in the Advanced Find results view is the one in the SubGrid section of the Ribbon, and it will have the ID: Mscrm.SubGrid.salesorder.AddEmail

Thanks for the clue that led me to it,
