Version: AU Business Central 25.1 (Platform 25.0.25866.0 + Application 25.1.25873.25900)

We are GO-LIVE with Business Central by 1st Jan 2025 and found the below function not available in BC which should be basic function or commonly need by all company:

1. Duplicate/Clone service quotes

2. Validity in service quotes

I'm sure you've long since found a solution or built one.

but:

It often appears as though Dynamics does NOT ship with features that "just make sense" and that everyone needs. See a table for Countries or as in your example, copying functions.

My explanation to myself has always been: they make perfect sense and they are absolutely fundamental and easy and straight forward, but HOW they are implemented exactly differs ever so slightly. Hence it is easiest for MS not to do anything rather than build a function that does not suit 80% of the users OOB and disgruntles most users. Can't get a complaint about something that doesn't exist...
