Hello,

I want to disable only the prompt without touching the reservation logic. I used the following method but I cannot cater for quantity changes on the line.
I have the same question (0)

    HI,

Can you tell if you have a custom process that opens this form, or do you want to change the standard behavior? You showed some X++ coding, but in what exact class and method have you placed it? Have you used the debugger to check if your customization is being executed at all?

    Hello André,

The auto reservation pop-up is a standard behaviour when you add a new line on a salesorder when there is not enough stock. In the above code I actually extended the InventMovement Class and used the method setAutoReserving to cancel the pop-up. However, my biggest challenge so far is that when I increase quantity on the line, I get an error that inventory is 0 when stock is actually available in physical hand-on. The goal is just to hide this prompt while keeping the reservation logic

    Hi,

Thanks for the clarification that you extended the InventMovement class. With the latest reply, I do understand that it is currently skipping the dialog, but you now get a warning about 0 availability?

If it is about the warning, have you checked if the physical on-hand is reserved by another transaction?

    Hello,

Yes, the method from InventMovent is actually disabling the prompt but the reservation isn't being made when I update qty. There is enough stock on the physical on-hand but when I update the quantity on the line there is no updated qty in transactions. I concluded that InventTrans is not being updated that's why I'm geting the error. But can figure out where while debugging.
