security roles

I have a purchasing role with access to all the necessary menus and tables. Without applying organizational restrictions, purchase requisition lines appear normally. However, after assigning organizations—even when granting access to all companies—the purchase requisition lines disappear.

with sys admin it works correctly too.. Any explanations?

    Looks like a data on one of the critical fields is missing that's causing the purchase requisition line to disappear.
     
    A few questions:
    1. There are fields like Buyinglegalentity, ItemDataArea, PurchIdD cataAreaId that needs to be considered. This can hold other legal entity's data in there. Are these legal entities considered while assigning the role?
    2. Are there any procurement categories defined in the purchase requisition lines? Are these procurement categories active?
    3. Is there a workflow associated with the purchase requisition line? Is no, then is it set to the Draft state? 
    4. Are there any workers associated with the purchase requisition lines and are they restricted to any legal entities? Are these workers set to Active state?

    The above mentioned fields (Worker, workflow status, Procurement categories, legal entity ids) are critical to make the purchase requisition lines work.

    Hi,

    I tried to reproduce your issue and have the next outcome in my demo. A user "Sara" has created a PR in USMF with two lines (company USMF). When assigning only the company USMF to the purchasing agent role and system user role, Sara can still see the lines. In case I change the organization assignment to another legal entity, e.g. DEMF, and exclude USMF, the lines are not visible anymore.
     
    When I assign both companies DEMF and USMF where Sara starts in DEMF and opens the details of her PR, the legal entity switches to USMF.

    In case you added all legal entities, the lines should be visible.

    Do you have any customizations in place or XDS policies? If you have a Contoso environment I would check if it works there. Its very strange that it doesnt work with standard roles.

    @André Arnaud de CalavonThank you for your response. I have tried with multiple standard and customized purchasing and project roles, but the lines still don’t appear. I also tested by granting and removing the 'DAT' organization, but the issue remains.

    Did you include the 'DAT' company as company assignment? What exact security role is assigned to the user(s)?
