Session registrations Date and Time format

Hello everyone,

Is there a workaround to change the date and time format on sessions? According to Microsoft it is not possible. By default date and time are displayed in US format.

I am based in the Netherlands and we are using DD-MM-YYYY and the 24 hour time notation. Is there a way to make this happen?

❌ Current Limitation

As of now, Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys does not support customizing the date and time format for session registrations. The format is hardcoded to US standards (MM-DD-YYYY and 12-hour time) and cannot be changed through settings or configuration

✅ What You Can Do

While you can't change the format directly, here are a few workarounds or considerations:

Custom Forms:

If you're using a custom registration form, you can remove and re-add the session element to benefit from recent styling updates. However, this still won't change the format itself .

Localization Settings:

The broader Dynamics 365 environment respects user locale settings for many UI elements. You can check:
Settings → Personalization → Formats
But this does not affect session registration forms in Customer Insights - Journeys.

Custom Portal or Embedded Forms:

If you're embedding the registration form into a custom website or portal, you might be able to reformat the date/time display using JavaScript or a front-end framework. This requires developer support.
