Wondered if someone might have an idea of what is happening with a personal dashboard to cause it to disappear?
For context, we have a custom app based on the OOTB features of the customer service app.
Due to the data handled, there is additional security in place for some teams where they sit outside of the Main business unit, the dashboard in question is assigned to one of the teams with this configuration.
The issue is also isolated to one team, who sit in a different business unit. I (as system admin) have created a dashboard and assigned it to the team in question, so that it is only visible to team members. However, this has now occurred at least 4 times where the dashboard has randomly disappeared without explanation.
The issue is also isolated to one environment (PROD) so there is a possibility it could be user error but is there any easy way to track user actions associated to personal dashboards that are assigned to a team entity?
Also for extra detail, the dashboard was created with saved system views, which have not changed. There has also been no configuration change to the owning team entity, so this is happening entirely randomly without explanation.
When the issue began, i created a backup of the dashboard so this could be assigned back to the team easily with little to no downtime, however this backup has also not been impacted by the disappearance, no difference to any views etc.
