Hello, I would appreciate your support in understanding whether there is a way to configure the packing list selection so that it follows the FIFO method, even when reservation is set to manual at the item model group level.

 

Is it possible to achieve this behavior through standard configuration, or would it require customization?

    Hi Mike,
     
    If you want to have the oldest batch number delivered first, then there is no guarantee in the standard. There is an option where the application can take the first expiry date (FEFO), but I don't know if your products do have an expiration, like in food and beverages.
     
    If your products don't have an expiration, a customization might be worth to check out for.

    Hi Mike,
     
    Usually items with the Batch numbers follow the  FEFO (First Exipry First Out) principle.
    There is a provision of auto selection of the Expiry batch first.
    If the selection is to be according to FIFO principle , I guess customisation is required as what I understand.
